Our Native Village – Eco Resort in Hesaraghatta is about 39 km from Majestic Bus Station,
Bangalore, and about 45 km from Kempegowda International Airport. It is a 13 years old property and is currently managed by Niraamaya Retreats.

  • It utilizes the rainwater harvesting process to effectively accumulate stormwater and use it for various purposes.

Accommodation

The resort has a total of 24 rooms for the accommodation of the guests. The rooms are of 3 types:

  • Delux Room – The Delux rooms have 1 double bed and these are ideal for a family of 2 adults and a kid.
  • Delux Twin Rooms – These rooms have 2 single beds and can accommodate 2 adults.

  • Delux Family Rooms – The Family Rooms have 2 single beds and 1 double bed. These rooms can usually accommodate up to 4 adults.

All the rooms are aesthetically designed with a brick wall texture to give a bucolic impression. The main highlight of these rooms is the mural paintings on the walls. These paintings have been made by drawing inspiration from major art forms that are prevalent in various parts of India.

Food Options

The resort serves breakfast, lunch, evening hi-tea with snacks and dinner. Guests can opt for buffet or ala carte options for lunch and dinner. The food is usually served in the common
dining area.

Breakfast – The breakfast menu usually comprises idly, sambar, chutney, poha, vada, bread toast, omelet, aloo paratha, coffee, and tea. There is also a live counter where guests can order masala dosa.

Lunch – In lunch, both vegetarian, as well as non-veg food options, are available. Usually, the menu consists of fried rice, white rice, daal tadka, veg soup, rasam, roti, paneer curry, baby corn manchurian, aloo gobi sabzi, chicken curry, salad, sweet and ice cream.

Evening Hi-Tea – The timing for evening hi-tea is around 4.30 PM. Both tea and coffee along with snacks are available for the guests.

Dinner – The timing for dinner is usually between 8.30 PM to 9 PM. Guests can have dinner in the common dining area. The spread has a lot of options and the menu usually consists of vegetable soup, jeera rice, white rice, roti, mushroom manchurian, aloo okra curry, salad, daal, paneer curry, chicken curry, and sweet.

Pottery Making – It is a paid activity and it is available for all guests post-lunch. The guests willing to engage in pottery making need to contact the reception counter to confirm the per head charge as well as the timings. The charges are usually included in the final bill and can be paid during checkout. Pottery making is an extremely interesting activity. The guests can try their hand in making various kinds of earthenware like pots, cups (kulhaars) and small bowls.

Bullock Cart Ride – It is also a paid activity. It is available both in the mornings as well as in the afternoon. The guests can enquire about the timings and the charges at the reception counter. The charges are usually included in the final bill and can be paid during checkout. Each trip is for a duration of around 15 to 20 minutes.

Tips

  • Our Native Eco Resort is located near Hesarghata grassland. Though Google Map shows the accurate location, navigation might be a tad bit difficult. Signboards are available a few kilometers before the resort to guide the guests.
  • The last stretch of 3 to 4 km is unpaved. Hence it might be difficult for negotiating the route in a vehicle with low ground clearance.
  • Rooms are all neat and clean. Though sanitization is done diligently by housekeeping, it is always advisable for the guests to carry their sanitizers and wear masks as the place remains crowded during the weekends.
  • There are intercoms in the rooms. For any requirement, the guests can contact the reception counter through the intercom.
  • There are mosquito vaporizers provided in all rooms.
  • Drinking water bottles are provided in the rooms. Apart from that earthen pots are available in the corridors leading to the rooms. The guests can refill their water bottles from these pots.
  • There is a small alcohol counter near the dining area. Guests can also bring their booze.
  • Guests can request the staff for arranging a bonfire.
  • Though television sets are available in all the rooms. However, there are no cable or DTH connections. 
  • Mobile signal in the area is decent.
